Nominating Procedure

Each year, Woodward Academy bestows three top honors to outstanding alumni. To ensure the success of this project, the administration must rely on you to nominate those you feel eligible for the honor. Following are the guidelines:

  • A one to two page letter nominating the person. The letter may be signed by one or more individuals and should outline the major reasons why the nominee should receive the award
  • A biographical statement on the nominee is to accompany the letter of nomination. This statement should include career history, family information, education, civic and volunteer service.
  • Nominations are due by April 15.

Presentation of Awards: The awards will be presented at the annual alumni reunion weekend. In case of scheduling conflicts, awards can be presented at a mutually agreeable time at an appropriate ceremony at Woodward Academy.
